It was clean and had everything we needed. Communication with host was good. Would recommend for families or couples
Only access to bedrooms is via external staircases. Although there are 2 shower rooms only 1 is easily accessible from the bedrooms therefore this upstairs bathroom needs to be shared.

Milk and Welsh cakes on arrival. Friendly hosts, convenient location.

The location was excellent for exploring the wider area.
It was great to have bathrooms on both floors!
Although it wasn't really much of a problem, it would have been nice to know in advance that the only stairs to the upper floor were external!

Beautiful garden and grounds. We got to spot some unusual birds while having coffee with the river babbling in the background. It was very peaceful and about a 25min walk into Builth Wells to some lovely cafes, shops and pubs. Our youngest loved the trampoline and the oldest was very taken by the chickens.
There is no internal staircase which is not a problem as the site is very private and there are bathrooms on both floors, but it's worth knowing in advance for if you are using the living room sofa bed.
