Very well appointed room. Comfortable and with all required, from the tea and coffee making facilities to the comfortable beds and lovely walk in shower. Easily accessed by a separate entrance when the bar was not open. Great housekeeping throughout our stay and good food as usual in the evening.

Breakfast and location was good. Also on the night we ate in the Mitre, after the main course i asked if they did a cheese option. Sadly not... but the gent serving us went to his flat and gave us his own cheese and pickles...really much appreciated.

Only 2 aspects of the stay was somewhat negative. The double bed was probably the smallest bed that could still be called a double The main course for the evening meal... we both had the pollock. The fish was good... the bean accompaniment was interesting but the carrot spicy "thing!"...completely blew away the delicate flavours of the rest of the fish. Marcus Waringv would probably say "it had no place on the plate"

Convenient, quiet location, even managed to find free parking! Room was very clean. Friendly staff. Good food in pub. Good selection of teas, coffee and biscuits in the room.

The (single) bedroom was very small. There was no room for a chair, so you had to sit on the bed. The room was next to the boiler room and the constant noise was intrusive. There was also noise from the music in the bar/restaurant until 11pm which seemed to be coming from immediately below the bedroom. Did not sleep well!
