Location is good, being situated close to the town and very close to the moor but the situation is difficult as the property is on a busy, narrow road and parking is awkward, or to be safe, a short walk away.

- The small patio at the front of the property is overgrown and the beds need weeding making it much less pleasant to sit out than it could be. Also, smoking residue should be removed from the outdoor area between lets. - One of the shower doors is difficult to open and close; suspect the top rollers are perished or seized. - Second bedroom is almost completely filled by the two beds making it a real squeeze for four people for any more than a couple of nights. Suggest bunk beds would be better use of the space.

Great location, comfortable beds, kitchen was well equipped

The shower tray filled up with water. The shower door kept falling off and the shower head needed a good clean. The bins outside were very full when we arrived and not pleasant. Probably more smellier due to hot weather.

Kestrel Cottage has an appealing and welcoming quality. The lounge was cosy and the beds very comfortable. The owner was very helpful and that was greatly appreciated. The neighbours on either side of us were lovely and we were made to feel very welcome.

The road outside the cottage is very busy and although noise was not an issue there is no pavement. I struggled due to mobility issues with the stairs and steps
