Hyatt Studios Mobile/Tillmans Corner

Everything about this place is amazing! The room was better than we expected, the laundry room was super clean and had plenty of open units to us. IF we needed to stay for a week, this place would have been just great!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hyatt Studios Mobile/Tillmans Corner, Alabama A Wonderful Place to Rest, Recharge, and Relax! What We Loved! Sometimes travel plans take an unexpected turn, and you just need a comfortable place to regroup! That was exactly our situation when we decided to stop at Hyatt Studios Mobile/Tillmans Corner on our way home to Florida. With hurricane-related travel disruptions, heavy traffic, gas shortages, downed trees, and uncertainty about road conditions, we decided to give things a little more time to clear up before continuing our journey home. Thankfully, this hotel turned out to be a wonderful place to rest and recharge! First impressions matter, and the front desk staff absolutely delivered! They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We arrived at 3:00 PM and were able to check in right on time. After being on the road, that was definitely appreciated! Our room was spacious, modern, and comfortable, with plenty of room to spread out. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the sheets and pillows made for a wonderful night’s sleep. Sometimes a great bed is exactly what you need after a long day of traveling! The kitchenette was another HUGE plus! We had a full-size refrigerator, microwave, cooktop, dishwasher, sink, coffee maker, and plenty of cabinet space. There was even an electric kettle! Having these conveniences makes such a difference, especially when traveling as a family or staying for more than one night. The bathroom was nicely designed with a beautiful illuminated mirror and a glass-enclosed shower. And can we talk about the shower for a moment? Fantastic hot water and AMAZING water pressure! There is nothing quite like a great hot shower after a long day on the road! Now, let’s talk about the laundry facilities because they deserve their own shout-out! Their washer and dryer room is TOP NOTCH! Multiple large, modern, front-loading machines in a nicely organized laundry area.

While we truly enjoyed our stay, there were a few things we would have loved to see. No swimming pool or hot tub. These are amenities our family enjoys when traveling, particularly when we have some unexpected downtime. Having either option would have made our relaxing stop even better. No traditional hot breakfast. The hotel offers a grab-and-go breakfast rather than a full hot breakfast. While that may work perfectly for some travelers, we personally enjoy sitting down to a hot breakfast before getting back on the road.

Staff was very nice and the room setups were great

They had electrical problems so we didn’t get key cards. We had to be let in by staff. Also the TV went out on us followed by intermittent AC issues.
