Ascott Xuanwu Lake Nanjing

This is a very new, modern hotel, with kitchen and washing machine. Everything is super clean, the one time use tooth brushes, shaves are with good quality. Location is excellent, in a vibrant downtown area, shopping centre and tons of restaurants are just feet away from hotel. Staffs are friendly and always available at the front desk, I’d especially thank Daniel, who gave me kind support, made my stay even pleasant.. Lastly, the breakfast is super, main dishes change every day (keep in mind that it does have western food but mostly Chinese cuisines), the Jinglin Soup Dumplings are just delicious, definitely a must-try!

Excellent quality of rooms, amenities and facilities. Big continental breakfast with both local and western offers. Incredibly welcoming and professional staff (special mention to Ms. Lynn Zhang), who were willing to help and be patient with the technical difficulties of being a foreigner in China. Location is conveniently located in a modern and quite gentrified area with benches and a central garden, full of local and western restaurants, shops, and a mini market, giving a comfortable opportunity to relax at night. I found it easy to navigate to the hotspots of the city via metro, Didi, or walking.

They were literally building the neighbourhood and upholstering many of the shops in the neighborhood when I was there, so it was temporarily messy and noisy in the evening, on the way from the metro station. It was not a problem anyway, and I expect it's going to be over soon.

Das Hallenbad ist nicht so ganz ideal - zwar sehr groß - aber im Keller und kein wirklicher Service (Handtuch etc.)
