We were delighted with our choice of Cottage d'Or for our stay in Ballarat. We loved it from the moment we walked in the door. It is warm, cosy, comfortable and just has a lovely welcoming feel to it. It is spotlessly clean and Bridget and her partners have included many thoughtful touches to make everything perfect.

The property has everything you could possibly hope for, the owners are excellent hosts

Nothing, it was perfect.

A lovely cottage in Ballarat, so close to everything. The hosts thought of everything. The decor was beautiful. Very comfortable, a home away from home. Would highly recommend.

Everything was perfect

This property was so well presented and the owners had literally thought of everything. From thoughtful breakfast supplies, wine and chocolate treats, truly stunning decor and the most beautiful and luxurious bedroom…I felt like I was staying somewhere really special from the moment I stepped through the front door. Communication with the owners was prompt and friendly, making the check in and check out process so easy. The location was perfect as a base to explore Ballarat and I had no trouble getting parking right at the front door. I stayed on my own on this visit but I will definitely be bringing my husband for a stay in this beautiful property in the future.
