Hotel De Universal

Good sized rooms, fast wifi and superb location. The roof-top restaurant has some awesome views, and on a clear day you can see to the Himalayas. The food was good. During festivals, there will be partying in the square outside. For us this was a plus, but for others it may be negative.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The rooftop bar offers the best views of Kathmandu, making it the perfect spot to unwind while enjoying a drink. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed. The location is ideal for exploring the city, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kathmandu. It also has its own bakery cafe which serves best coffee.
