The most outstanding feature of the apartment is the staff. Our host Pristi went above and beyond the call the duty to meet us at wee hours of the night after our early afternoon flight from Barcelona to Alicante was cancelled and we were booked by the airline on a late night flight. Pristi assured us all would be alright and he was a man of his word when we arrived at nearly 02:00. Pristi is a great host and a very easy communicator. The apartment is located in Punta Prima area and a short distance (few hundred steps) from the beach, although to get to a real beach with sand you have to walk about 15 minutes. The apartment is very clean and located on the fifth floor with an elevator so there are no neighbors above you. The area is quiet and one can see the Mediterranean from the balcony. There is a great outdoor pool but unfortunately we didn’t get to use it. Having an indoor garage space is a real plus. Just be aware that parking spaces in Spain are much narrower than we are used to in the USA. So, our small SUV fit pretty well but a bit snug. With a bit more practice we could be a local. The apartment has everything one needs for a short to medium stay. The washer and dryer was a real treat. There’s a dishwasher and a large fridge as well as a four burner stove and an oven. Yes, there is also a microwave oven in the unit. Rt. N-332 is a couple of blocks away for getting to points north and south as well as the AP-7 the freeway to get to the Alicante Airport and other points north and south.

The shower. The short glass splash panel is inadequate to keep the sprays from landing on the bathroom floor. We had to mop-up the spills with the floor mat. Recommendation: 1) Remove the glass panel and install a full shower curtain rod and shower curtain to contain water spills in the tub. This will eliminate most spill and falling hazards. 2) Although a bit costly, a walk-in shower it would be advantageous to a tub especially for seniors and people with disabilities.

There was a leak with the sink but landlord was very efficient.

Nice appartments with underground parking place. Safe and beautiful neighborhood. Great pool with free access. In the appartment they have very comfortable sofa and terrace with magnificent view. Also, nice view from the bathroom window. Good WiFi.

Some staff in the room was broken and unattended, but it was not a problem for me at all.
