Great location, sleeps 9 people comfortably. Walking distance to Hudk brewery and the tavern

Could have one or two occasional chairs inside for more seating with a big group. And a coffee frother to go with coffee pod machine

A very nice property in a beautiful location. I have only rated it a 7/10 for the following reasons. A few necessities would have made this a 10. The first 2 days we had no oven. We arrived on a Saturday and maintenance were their 1st thing Monday to confirm it had tripped out at the switchboard. I had pulled out the owen and it didn't appear to be even connected ( and i noticed the switchboard had 1 switch 'off') ...but being unlabelled i wasn't about to turn it on in case it was isolated for a safety reason...not my responsibility ! So, clearly this needs to be addressed OR at least information explaining the problem and where to locate the switchboard. ( we had a family of 7 so needed the oven). The small TV in the back bedroom worked perfectly, but the main TV in the living room, most channels were that glitchy we couldn't watch it....but the main problem was spending an hour every second day sitting in a laundromat drying our clothes...a 3 foot clothes airer doesn't cut it for a property of that status and with that number of people...needed a tumble dryer !! Yes, their is a person living down stairs, but they were very quiet and were no problem , however it did mean the back yard appeared out of bounds....a BBQ on the front deck ( overlooking the river would have been great)...We enjoyed our stay, and it is good value for money, but i would have happily paid an extra $20/night ( or more) with those issues fixed

Located on the Tweed River, lovely views from the upstairs balcony. Rooms were very spacious, comfy beds. Tavern, Cafe and small shop all within walking distance. Easy drive to other towns and wineries.

No access to downstairs, so had to run through rain up the stairs to get inside. Property needs a clothes dryer, dust pan & brush, instruction manuals and toaster.

The location in Tumbulgum is excellent, with the pub only a few doors down. The outlook across the river is stunning and the property is well maintained and clean. Access to the property on arrival was easy with lockbox key.

We expected to have the entire property to ourselves when we booked. However, on arrival we discovered that there was another tenant living on the lower level with a dog. The dog barking (day and night) became an issue over the days we stayed. There is access to the laundry on the lower floor, with adjoining doors “locked”to the other lower spaces. Suspect the tenant was actually moving between the spaces on the lower level at times. The layout of the upper level is a little strange. While there is a separate toilet / powder room the two bathrooms are more like ensuites, with main bathroom (with shower) attached to the master bedroom at the rear. When staying with 3 couples this made things difficult coordinating the bathroom use. There is aircon in the lounge and two of the front bedrooms, however the master at rear is fan only and became very hot.
