Linton and his wife are the sweetest! They made us feel at home immediately. It Felt like we were their children. They gave us food and gave us everything we wanted and more<3

The room is clean, functional, and offered at a very good price. The accommodation is close to the beach, and on the walk there you’ll find many restaurants, cafés, and fruit vendors, which is very pleasant. The owners are warm, respectful, and very helpful. They allowed me to leave my belongings in the room until the next guest arrived and even offered to give me a lift to the bus stop. I found this gesture particularly generous. Please note regarding the address: the accommodation is located in Midigama (Midigo), not in Ahangama.

I had a wonderful stay at Midigo home stay! The hosts are lovely and so so so incredibly welcoming. I loved the location because it was a 10 minute walk away from the busier area of Midigama but it was nice to be in a bit more of a local side of town. I stayed for three nights and for a small extra fee I had breakfast every morning which was a delicious spread of local breakfast food, different each morning. This was a wonderful and very local experience. Such a fantastic opportunity to get a real glimpse into local life. And great value for money!

This isn’t a bad thing but do note that this is not a hotel but rather a room in a local family’s house. So if you’re looking for a real home stay then this is the place for you! The facilities are basic but you have everything you need.

Nirmala and Linton are the best hosts ever. Thanks to them we could experience the real Sri Lankan culture and food. We spent here our last days on the island, and it was not until then, that we had the chance to escape from the tourist traps all around. They took good care of us and gave us the right amount of attention, without being invasive. We asked them to cook for us, and so did Nirmala, preparing incredible meals everyday. We obviously paid happily, as nowhere else we ate so well. They asked for nothing, opposite to the rest of the people we met so far, so we were very happy to give them all the money we had left. There's a fan in the room and a mosquito net around the bed. Recommending 200%

The bed was not the most comfortable, but the rest made up for it.
