In Stay Guesthouse

Looking for a clean, convenient place to stay where you’re treated like a family friend? Stay here! Maria and her daughter went above and beyond for my husband’s gluten allergy. Even though it’s a rare allergy in Korea, Maria made special breakfasts that accommodated him. And after her daughter noticed him trying to dine on meager grocery store items (because Koreans’ tasty sauces tend to have gluten, so we couldn’t find that many open places-holiday week- that worked for him)and told her mom how sad his “dinner” was, Maria made him her grandmother’s soup-on her day off! I would never want to hold her to this standard but it’s indicative of how she cares for her guests. The thank you wall has great stories of her warmth, hospitality, and presence of mind. And, yes, clean, great location, free use of laundry facilities, blackout curtains, relaxing communal spaces, and much more!

Absolutely everything! The location is brilliant, InStay itself is absolutely beautiful thanks to Maria (and everyone who supports her) who is divine! Honestly, just stay here. It's the best. And the neighbourhood of old Seogwipo is so so cool.

That I had to leave.

Everything! Its location allows us to explore the maritime area, the two waterfalls- Jeongbang Pokpo and Cheonjiyeon Pokpo. Just leisure walking to these places has been such a pleasure. On the Main road front, it is near the food paradise of Seogwipo Maeli Olle Market, literally 5 min walk in a straight line, entering the market at Entrance 2. Many shops for the shopper's in us too. This market is open at night too. Alongside the market there are decent, clean pubs. The crowd is ok.q Went to Saebyeon Oreum, O'sulloc Tea Museum. Camellia Hil is also round the corner but October isn't a great place to see the blooms. All these places we went by local buses and short taxi rides. The place is clean, beautifully renovated in yhe reception and lounge areas. Lots of snacks, purified water, coffee and tea plus spacious seating for making and meeting people. Security is high. Room was well furnished and everything from the tv, aircon and water shower were in great working condition. Thank you, Boss. Definitely recommending to my friends.
