Stunning property, exceptional amenities & very comfortable but also very peaceful. In a great location to central area but also on lovely back street with lovely little shops 1 minute away to explore.

Elegant and cozy house, thoughtfully and newly renovated in Gion. Ito Machiya is close to many classic must-visit spots in Kyoto. Fully equipped and close to shops, the metro, and bus stations, it’s the perfect place to stay. We enjoyed the silence, the light, the large rooms, the tiny zen garden, the tatami room, the onsen, the scent of wood and above all the kindness of the host. We had a memorable time inside! Hope we’ll come back soon. Thank you!
