Modern design of the room. You could not be afraid that there would be dirt and unsanitary conditions, as it was visible outside the window

The highlight of the hotel is definitely the rooftop terrace where breakfast is served. The views of the pyramids are absolutely spectacular and probably the best feature of the hotel. The hotel itself is comfortable and generally very nice, and when we had a problem with the electronic card reader on our door, the staff did eventually fix it.

Although the hotel is advertised as 5-star, I would not consider it a 5-star hotel by European standards. The surrounding area is unfortunately quite dirty, with a lot of rubbish in the streets, although we noticed this is quite common in Cairo/Giza in general. During our stay, the electronic card reader on our room door stopped working and we couldn’t get into the room. It was eventually repaired, but it was quite stressful because we had a tour scheduled and needed access to our belongings. Another important point is that the spectacular pyramid views are from the rooftop/breakfast terrace, not from the room. Finally, the constant sound of cars honking outside can be very disturbing during the night.
