Overall Experience: The location of this apartment is exceptionally convenient, right in the heart of downtown! It is only about 500 meters from the SkyTrain station—a comfortable 15-minute walk even when dragging heavy luggage. Best of all, there is a direct train line straight to the airport, which made our transit completely hassle-free. The surrounding area is packed with supermarkets. I highly recommend visiting the nearby H Mart—their fresh oysters and giant crabs are absolute must-tries, incredibly delicious and fresh! The property management team is top-notch and highly professional. They were super responsive throughout our stay, and any questions or concerns we had were addressed almost immediately. They also provided plenty of daily essentials and supplies, which was very thoughtful and convenient.

Things to Keep in Mind: The apartment units and facilities themselves are a bit dated. The heater and exhaust fans are extremely loud when running, which unfortunately disrupted our sleep at night. Additionally, the bathroom vanity/sink is set quite high, which might be uncomfortable for people of average height. There are also very few power outlets on the lower level, making it a bit inconvenient to charge devices.

A lovely, bright apartment in downtown Vancouver; the unit was spacious and split-level, featuring a living area with a sofa bed and a kitchenette fully equipped with appliances, dishes, and cutlery. The bathroom was good, and everything was spotless. The location is excellent, allowing you to explore downtown Vancouver on foot. Check-in was easy, and the pre-arrival information provided was outstanding. There is a supermarket right across the street.

Due to the double-height windows, the air conditioning unit isn't powerful enough to cool the apartment on hot days, so you have to use the fans provided. The curtains aren't blackout-style, meaning you are forced to wake up early. Although the bedroom has a closet, it was partially filled with the owner's clothes and bedding, leaving very little space for the belongings of three guests.

Poor communication and feedback from the owner after requesting and ironing board. The apartment was equipped with laundry facilities however an iron without an ironing board to iron clothes on was a pointless exercise. Apart from the portable aircon unit there were not any instructions or manuals on how to operate any of the appliances. No book offering local information was available. Insufficient lighting throughout the apartment . It felt dark due to blinds down to give privacy from adjacent onlooking apartments and the buildings fire escape exit door . Several light fittings were not working either. Also we found on our return to the apartment after doing a quick trip to the local shops soon after our arrival one of the windows to the terrace/ balcony had been left open. Because of the closed blinds we were not aware initially of this issue. The washroom humidity fan kept running constantly throughout the day and night. Suspect a problem with humidity control sensor here. We did raise the issue with the host only to be told to flick the switch on the mains power board. However this left us without any means of lighting to the washroom and front door access during the night, not ideal . The kitchen utensils were tired and of a poor quality. The few bowls that were available were found dirty and either too big or too small and unfit for purpose. Overall disappointed and could go on about more issues hence the negative review.
