Finger lakes inn & suites

Very convenient off the highway and near a dunkin donuts. For the price I was surprised at the quality of the rooms. The king mattress and pillows were very comfortable.

The hotel feels 'half updated' - the lobby doors, floor, layout, and furniture looked old, beat and non-welcoming. The first floor and elevator stunk of cigarettes. When I did my bedbug check of all 4 corners of the mattress, I found no evidence of bedbugs, but all 4 corners had torn fabric, it looked like it had been dragged down a hallway multiple times shredding the corner fabric. All the sheets and pillow cases looked like they had been washed, but had previously been stained. None were terrible, just lots of very small stains. The elevator on the 2nd floor had tape over the 'down' button and a note that said: use the button above to call for the elevator. This did not inspire confidence. Other guests were smoking near the entrance and some jackhole was sitting out there revving his loud truck while I was checking in.

The room was pleasant.

No one at the reception desk. lobby restrooms were locked. Water stains on lobby restroom fixtures. Groups congregating in the parking lot.

The room was spotless and appeared to have been remodeled recently. The exterior also appeared to have been remodeled recently. I forgot a USB/USB-C cord to charge my phone. When I inquired at the desk they said they would look to see if they had one. Several hours went by and no update. Two hours later the desk attendant knocked on my door and handed me a cord to use. He had gone out and bought it! THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

For me, the bed was uncomfortable. I awoke with a sore back.

The price

I was told I could check in at 12, got there was told 3pm. Pillowcases had stains on them. Bathrooms were very small. Elevator on second floor did not have a down button.
