The Old Lantern Inn

The location was convenient to popular destinations but the inn itself is comfortably secluded and quiet. The rooms were a good size for an inn, and when we made our reservation our host was kind enough to recommend a room based on our travel needs.

Honestly nothing, if I’m being super picky the room was a little warm but nothing outside of what I’d expect from an inn.

Quaint country houe Nice bath. If they could cup.or glasses in the room. That would be nice Nothing

The just having no glassess.. Yes

thw barn and walking trails.

Beautiful country setting with well-manicured lawn and spectacular gardens! The Inn was very clean and well-organized, offering breakfast amenities, the staff was very friendly, and the room was just the right size for our family of three. The location is convenient for travel, close to the Charlotte-Essex ferry. There were two differences from a hotel setting which we liked: There are no televisions in the rooms, but there is a large television in the common room / breakfast area. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, but there is a refrigerator for guest use in the hallway. Both of these differences kept the room open and quiet, which was conducive to relaxation and sleep!

We had no issues with any part of our visit!
