The house is opposite the beach, and location so close to St Helens (15min). You can drive up to The Gardens at Ansons Bay under an hour with beautiful beaches and Billalong Bay. Fish at Chips at Skippers St Helens is a must. The IGA at St Helens is huge with fantastic salads etc, it is espenseve - so take as much food as you can. It very quite, and open plan. great fenced yard for our dog. Loved the kitchen, full size new fridge, cooker - fantastic gas top. It was a great kitchen. Loved the fact we could drive our car out the back behind the gate - easy packing up and unpacking for day out. Nice wood floors and no carpet so very clean. Great hot water in shower etc. Lovely view watching TV and seeing the street through big windows. Lots of cutlery and kitchen items. Good wood heater and reverse heating.

The smell of chemical cleaners was so strong and hit you as soon as you walked in. In this day i would think less cleaner smell would be more appropriate. It took 2 days with windows open to clear the smell. We took our own firewood and kindling - glad we did because there was not enough wood for the fire otherwise. There was firelighters supplied and a great wood heater. We found the bed very good quality matress but a bit small for us as only a double, shame it wasn't a queen. In summer it would be extremely hot as the sun is at the back of the house with no blinds or pergola. Over all this is a good house, and would recommend staying. We would stay here again as it ticked many of our boxes.

We really enjoyed the location and shack feel. It was really handy travelling with our dog and having the fully enclosed yard to be able to enjoy the coast whilst I knew he was safe in the yard. The sun and large window in the lounge was also beautiful.

It probably could do with a little facelift in the bathroom, new shower head and toilet etc but honestly it didnt hinder our stay and we still very much enjoyed our time here.
