HOTIDAY Mondello Beach

Die Unterkunft hat eine perfekte Lage, was für uns am wichtigsten ist. Nur ein paar Minuten zum Strand und zu allen Restaurants, Bars und Cafés. Der Ort ist wirklich schön und hat einen Mega Strand. Man kann mit dem Bus 806 alle 15 min. nach Palermo fahren und zurück. Der Pool ist ebenfalls top.

Die Toiletten und die duschen am Pool, waren nicht so sauber wie der Rest.

Gediegenes Hotel am Hügel von Mondello. Ruhige Lage und doch nahe am Zentrum. Schöner Garten mit Swimmingpool zum Ausspannen. Eine attraktive Rooftop Bar.

Geräusch von einem Kompressor war störend während der Nacht.

Beautiful property

We were really looking forward to our two-night stay at Mondello Glam, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. On arrival, we were told that our room was unavailable due to a sudden hydraulic problem and that we would have to stay at another hotel for our first night. We were transferred to Hotel Splendid, which was a completely different experience from what we had booked. The hotel was very dated and the room we were given was a disabled-access room at the back. As we were only staying for two nights, having to move to another hotel and then return to Mondello Glam the following day took up a significant amount of our limited time and caused considerable inconvenience. We did return to Mondello Glam for the second night and were given an upgrade and an aperitif, which we appreciated. We understand that the original problem was unexpected, and we don’t blame the hotel for the fault itself. However, we had paid €342.62 in advance for two nights at Mondello Glam, and we were unable to stay there for one of those nights. We subsequently asked for a reasonable partial refund to recognise the inconvenience, but this was declined. It’s disappointing because we specifically chose Mondello Glam for our stay, and half of our short visit ended up being spent in completely different accommodation. A beautiful property, but unfortunately the way this situation was handled left us disappointed.
