Albatros Makadi Resort - 24 HRS All Inclusive

We had a brilliant stay at the resort and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Egypt. First of all, a special thank you to Mahmoud Fattouh, who was absolutely fantastic throughout our entire stay. He kept in touch with us, made sure everything was going well, and was always available whenever we needed help. He kindly arranged an iron for us, allowed us to have a late check-out at no extra charge due to our late flight, and even allowed us to continue enjoying the resort’s facilities until it was time to leave for the airport. This level of care and attention really made a difference to our holiday, and we truly appreciate everything he did for us. Mahmoud is a real credit to the resort! The hotel itself was brilliant, clean and well maintained. The grounds were lovely, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy our holiday. The rest of the staff were also very kind, friendly and helpful, always welcoming us with a smile and doing their best to make our stay comfortable. The food was good, with a great variety of options thanks to the 5–6 different restaurants available. There was plenty of choice, so we could enjoy something different throughout our stay. The steakhouse is also worth mentioning, although you need to book it in advance, with one visit included per stay. The entertainment was another highlight. The evening shows were pretty decent, enjoyable and fun, giving us something to look forward to after a day spent relaxing by the pool or enjoying the resort. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday, enjoyed the facilities, appreciated the hospitality and felt well looked after. The combination of cleanliness, good food, friendly staff and enjoyable entertainment made this a great experience. A huge thank you once again to Mahmoud Fattouh for going above and beyond to help us, especially on our departure day. His kindness and professionalism deserve special recognition.

The shop, book store is an absolutely rip off. But its not part of the hotel. Everybody needs to be careful when going inside and buying anything as they are lying on prices and you get scammed when you pay. Also its very overpriced so get ready.

The resort and all its facilities and staff were amazing. Comfortable room with more than enough options for food to choose from. They accommodated special request and all staff was friendly. As a stat I can't point to anything wrong but one experience did make it bad which I need to highlight.

Beach was a bit of disappointment as it was very shallow that kids even didn't enjoy Food options were scattered across restaurants, there was no themed food for each restaurant even though it says means you have to go around each to check The worst experience was I was charged extra £200. I had no option at that time with family otherwise I would have refused.. I asked for extra bed at the time of booking and they confirmed. In all my travelling life when they have confirmed, its fine or hotels state yes they can but there is extra charge. These guys never stated extra charge and on arrival Mahmoud Fattouh said we confirmed extra bed but not thr charge. They knew what is family going to do now, they are trapped. I had booked another hotel and they clearly stated there will be extra charge or to book another room type. This really put me off to start my stay with them.
