Palazzo Doni by Florence Art Apartments

This place is perfect. It is the perfect location, close to everything. The apartment has lots of room, very comfortable. It has electric black out shades that keep the room cool and block out the early morning sunshine. The communication from the staff made check in a breeze..

At night the AC didn't seem to work as well as the day. I am not sure if there is an energy saving device that sees the lights are off and thinks no one is home but I would have to get up and touch the thermostat to get the room cool again.

Wonderful apartment near Basilica of Santa Croce close to the river Arno river. The expansive space and laundry/dryer allowed us to do a reset on our trip and the space was a nice retreat from the bustle of the city. There was a grocery a couple minutes away and a cafe on the corner, so it was easy to do some in house meals or run out quickly for a bite while avoiding the need for every meal to be an involved sit-down. The antique decor was also wonderful and we took multiple pictures for future decorating ideas when we return home. Property was quite safe and had multiple access control points. Location was 10-15 minutes walk from Duomo area and easy connection to Uffizi.

Be aware there is no daily cleaning performed due to it being an apartment, but this was a known for us coming in and really not a negative.

Will be back!! Loved this stay - super clean, has everything you need, comfortable, fantastic location. We had our toddler and supplied a cot and bedding. Would recommend thank you
