BATON SUITE Okinawa-kourijima

Baton Suite is without a doubt a luxury destination. The breakfast served daily was made with such exceptional care and flavours, it's had us trying to research how to make the purple sweet potato pottage and the sauce served with the wagyu (mouth watering!). The staff are so kind and helpful, and always willing to assist us with any queries. Sadly the clouds didn't disappear long enough at night for us to take part in the stargazing service, so we will just have to return one day in the future :). I would happily stay again and again.

This is by no means any complaint or critcism against Baton Suite, just advice for future travellers. The island is on the remote side, which was a wonderful end to a hectic 2 wks on Honshuu. However we made a mistake in not understanding that a formal International Driver's Permit is required to rent a car, and so we were reliant upon taxis. This mistake was 100% our fault. And so you don't make the same mistake as us, life definitely would have been easier with a hire car, e.g. to get to a convenience store off island and return with supplies (as onshore stores are limited, moreso souvenirs than daily food items). Also Uber and Go will not work to make a booking for a car whilst on Kouri Island. That said, any time we needed a taxi we just planned in advance and asked the front desk for help and it was absolutely fine (Uber and Go worked off island for return legs). But as mentioned, it was a good way to force my Type A personality to slow down - and if you get a chance you can stroll down to the local t-shirt designer called Bonmu, who had for sale a tshirt that said "go with the flow". Certainly the universe was telling me to chill out on Kouri!

接客全般がとても良かったです。 宿泊する人に本当に満足して楽しんでもらいたい、というスタッフの皆様の気遣いや心配りが随所に感じられ、とても気持ちよく過ごすことができました。 妻が利用したスパもとても良かったようで、施術だけでなく、スタッフの方の対応や心配りにも大変満足していました。 ホテルで過ごした時間全体を通して、細かなところまで行き届いたサービスだと感じました。

あったらいいなは外履き用のスリッパと入浴後のヘアトリートメントです。

地理位置好，員工都很親切，房間很大，還有洗脫烘洗衣機，設備齊全

The room was big and spacious. It comes with a full apartment appliance such as microwave/ oven, a washing detergent, washing machine and A bath tub. There’s also parking in front of your hotel too.

The only small problem is getting there at night was abit tough as the passage to the hotel was narrow and you need see on your gps and visual to find your way to the hotel
