What did I like? Can't believe I'm saying this but Everything!!!!!! The host, the property, the entire stay experience. I know I sound over enthusiastic like some fake-happy AI but idk it def was one of the best bookings I've made this year! Host / hospitality: So we going to Chidambaram for a swimathon at the Kollidam river and I booked this last minute at 5pm. We were already stressing about being late but, the host replied within minutes, sent directions promptly and was waiting at the door - even offered us welcome drinks and snacks even though we reached super late. It really helped calm my tension I was having about the event next day. And I mean that level of warmth and hospitality is extremely rare with property owners / caretakers generally. So we were super happy! Location: Now, although we didn't do a lot of sight-seeing during this trip I think this house is perfect for Pilgrims / tourists visiting the Nataraja Kovil because it’s JUST a 5 - 10 min walk away and you can even see the Gopuram from the place. But, also perfect if you're just coming to explore Chidambaram because the host basically a human TripAdvisor and has great reccos for places to see / eat at. All 10/10. House / property: Ok, think I went off tangent so I'm gonna quickly end this note with some deets on the house itself: The property itself is super cute, CLEAN, had parking, a SPACIOUS living room and a vintage-ish kitchen. Has almost all essential appliances you'll need. We actually extended our stay in the last minute but he was so nice about it! Asked us to go see the temple and check out when we were done. Didn't rush us and all. And guess what? He gave us a going-away gift!!!!!!!!! Here's how I rate: Property / location: 10/10 Sleep score: 10/10 Special mention to masala pal guy at the market: 11/10 Host: 100/10 Def recommend this place especially if it's your first time in Chidambaram.

The roads leading up to the property are quite narrow. But, the property is on a wide enough road. So no major issues if you bring a big car
