Nice little bungalow on outskirts of Prestatyn. Nicely furnished and decorated.

It was close to the train line.

A perfectly sized bungalow for 4 people without feeling crowded though only 2 of us went this time. Secure rear garden is a bonus if you have children or a dog, plenty of space and the conservatory is a real sun trap. Off road parking though a little narrow and tight with walls and neighbouring cars. Clean, fresh feel with plenty of home comforts and appliances. Key code check in worked perfectly. Off the main road so very quiet with no real disturbance, beach and shops easily walkable - see below. The dog friendly beach and miles of promenade/dunes/parks make it a great walking place.

Bathroom a little small and the position of the WC and the radiator would be tight for a larger person, anyone with mobility issues or other assistance needs may burn themselves if the radiator is on. Likewise the shower cubicle is a little on the small side. Some general issues such as flooring tears and general wear and tear to sort. Railway is literally in the back garden and though busy didn't offer too much disturbance; the trains pass quickly with with a brief "hum". Walk to the beach may be a bit much for the very young/old or those needing assistance. Cafe 21 offers a welcome place for a drink.

Overful dustbins that don’t appear to have been emptied for ages. Also two very full bins at the front that need emptying. Very unpleasant. No USB points in the property.

The location was private and quiet, although at the rear of the property, there was a working train line, about 50 yards behind the garden fence. That we were unaware of, before arrival.

Bird droppings on the conservatory floor and table, large number of the conservatory blinds missing. The weather was very hot, and complete blinds would have helped a little, to keep out a bit more heat. Although, there was an air conditioning unit in the conservatory, but that was fairly ineffective. The rear, front and side gardens, were untidy and unkempt, and needed to be brought up to a higher standard. Rear garden, there was a dirty towel on the floor, plus a small part of a kitchen drawer. There were a couple of electrical issues, when we used the grill, it blew the fuse, and there was a broken electrical socket in the lounge. I contacted the host regarding the grill, we sorted the issue quickly, but we weren’t able to use the grill at all. For a three night, four day stay, there were an insufficient number towels, and only one loo roll. More pots and pans would have been useful. Our dog also came across an animal bone, in the back garden, which he proceeded to try to eat, until we took it off him. He could have choked on that.
