Roaming Retreat Ahangama

Roaming Retreat is conveniently located right in the heart of Ahangama, with Hakuna Matata just a short walk away. The rooms were beautifully designed and so aesthetically pleasing. The food was absolutely amazing, but what we loved most was the atmosphere. It genuinely feels like a little community where, whether you’re a local or a foreign traveller, you feel like you’re staying with a group of friends. Their dinner nights together are such a fun touch! We also loved the two little doggies who were always around to keep us company. 🐶 And of course, our pool table sessions were a highlight! Such a warm, welcoming place with a great vibe. Would definitely stay here again!

There's a railway track just next to/behind the premises.. so mornings in the room can be a bit loud sometimes with the train sounds. But manageable.

Staff could be more forthcoming. They never really helped like all other places i stayed in Sri Lanka. No hot water ! Electricity went at night no generator
