Location, cleanliness and comfortable. View from balcony is also great - even get a bit of the sea!

Extremely close to the city centre & the port/busses, just some 42-ish steps up from the Piazza de Dogi, a huge, tasteful, marvellous appartment awaits you, with a view to the Duomo and the hills.
There were some works upstairs from us at the time: really friendly = beginning not too early :)
Plus in the hot climate: washing machine.
Of course, you pay for exquisite location and outstanding rooms accordingly. Smaller point: Watch out on the balcony for occasional swallows' "donations" from above; or just use the fine awning.
