Did was an excellent last location for my Reunion visit. The room was just like I like it; minimalistic, cozy, well kept, very clean and comfortable. The pool was great with a really good view down to the coast and up to the mountains. I will definitely stay here if I go back. PS: the owners speak English :)

There are no nearby restaurants or shops (which is quite common in Reunion), but the owners will help you order food if you don't have a car.

The place had a dank smell.

The only thing we liked was the view from the pooldeck.

The room was dampy and full of mold. Hygiëne was nowere to be found. The ceiling lamp was full of dead flies and musqitos. There was a lot of garbage around the complex. Wouldnt recommend to stay here.

Bed was a bit too small for two people and mattress was a bit hard and noisy, there was limited cupboard space and no luggage rack. There was no hairdryer. For dinner, the restaurant served only two options (fish or meat) which were tasty but the dish consisted mainly of pasta or rice. Breakfast was ok. No warm options.

The electricity worked and you could flush the toilet.

To start with, there is a certain level of "exaggeration" about the product that is offered. It is not in Saint Pierre as is claimed, but many kilometers away up a winding road in a location that is difficult to find without gps. If you are lucky, you will be able to spot some small signs that indicate where it is. Don't even try it at night. Secondly, the double room with a "sea view" had a better view of the building and trees that were situated ten meters away and between the room and the sea. You could see the sea if you looked off to the side or if the wind blew the trees out of the way. There were decent views if you went outside near the pool, but that wasn't what was advertised. After spending several hours trying to find the place and taking multiple wrong roads, I arrived at the property just as the sun set. I asked the receptionist if the restaurant was open. "No, it's a holiday.". "Is there another restaurant near here?" "No. you have to go to Saint Pierre." And I was not going to drive down there at night and hope I could find my way back. "Is there another hotel nearby that has a restaurant ?" No. "Is there anyone who delivers food?" No. "Can you sell me a beer from the restaurant?" "No. They are closed.......There is a "resto" in the village but I don't know if they are open. " "Can you call them for me?" "No. I don't know the number." If I had been dying, she would not have cared. The room was not very bright and was generally uninspiring, and the mattress seemed to have some kind of memory foam that didn't quite work--it would have been more comfortable without it. And the metal plug in the sink could not be opened unless you reached down under the sink and jiggled the mechanism that is supposed to be attached. So no, it wasn't worth the price of the room.
