The property was ideally situated between Carbis bay and St Ives. We really liked the size of the property and the estate was beautiful. The property was beautifully furnished and highlight were the ocean views from the top balcony. The property was also clean and well maintained.

The bed mattress were too soft for our liking. Overall the kitchen was well stacked, however for the amount the property was charging it was bit disappointing not to have amenities like microwave and a coffee machine although ground coffee was provided in the welcome kit. It would have been a good touch to provide body shower and shampoo in the bath.

It was a spacious house and the large open plan first floor worked well for our large family group. The large open space outside the house gave the children plenty of room to play.

The advertised swimming pool in the hotel wasn't available. Although it features prominately in the list of facilities, the fact that it isn't avaialble during school holiday is only mentioned in the last line of the detailed terms. So we only found out when we tried to use the pool. Given we had booked during schools holidays and had several children in the party I would have expected such a significant restriction on the facilities to have been brought to our attention more prominately. When we raised with property managers during our stay we just got a reply to the effect - tough it is in the T&Cs.
