The Abbey Residence

I stayed for one night .My son was in Edinburgh Royal infirmary which was only about 7 mins drive.Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Nico and Pranjeet were very welcoming. Breakfast was a bonus . I had a place for parking. Room spacious enough with tea and coffee facilities. Lots of eating places and shops nearby.

Nette Mitarbeiter und top Busanbindung in die Stadt. Ist etwas außerhalb aber der Bus fahrt quasi direkt vorm Haus mitten in die Stadt

Haare. Unser ganzes Zimmer war voll mit fremden Haaren, am Boden, auf dem Bett, auf dem Schreibtisch. Eine Rasierklinge lag im Bad… Es ist außerdem sehr hellhörig, sowohl das Bad als auch die Wände allgemein

Everything was as described. The room was great value for money, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of space. We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient, just a 2-minute walk from the bus stop, with buses running very frequently. Breakfast was also included in the price, which was a great bonus. On one day, we had to leave quite early, but we were still able to get some sandwiches and enjoy a glass of juice before leaving, which we really appreciated. A special thank you to Milan at reception, who was truly a gem! He was very kind and friendly, and gave us some great recommendations for Edinburgh and Scotland. It was also very important for us that we were able to check in very late, as our flight was delayed by more than 7 hours. We really appreciated the flexibility and understanding. Overall, a great experience and we would happily stay here again!

The bathroom is a bit old, but we had no problem

Room size was good, breakfast was passable, not really continental more toast and cakes, staff OK

Room condition was not up to par, floor was dusty, mattress was soft and way past its best, also hairs on bed and pillows soft and bedding not clean, main issue was the so called bathroom not cleaned and smelt of urine, light was too dim, not a nice place, water pressure was low and hot water to hot, also the decor was poor holes in the walls and finish was rough and painted by someone who has no idea how to paint, overspray everywhere looked a mess and mirrors the hotel, a bit of a mess, more like a dormitory, I won't be going back and thankfully was only for a night, left pronto in the morning.
