Great little play to stay for a few days in this part of the country with easy access to many places in Northumberland.Great you can walk to Alnwick castle and not worry about transport to and from and a few nice pubs with outside area to have a drink on way back.A few nice restaurants in the town which we used and if you like a book shop the biggest I have every seem 10 mins walk away.
