Fred and his wife were very kind hosts who were happy to chat and give recommendations for what to do in the area. They really welcome you into their home. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional - freshly cut tropical fruit, homemade cake, hot drinks etc., in a convivial atmosphere.. It was great sitting around their big table and chatting with the other travellers staying there. If I stayed here again, I would definitely try of Fred's famous dinners that he offers for guests for an additional fee.
There can be a bit of a wait for the bathroom if you're staying in the main house - but thats understandable as you're sharing it with other travellers. Be aware that the property is up quite high on the mountain - its useful to have your own transport to get around.
