Incredibly friendly family, they even went to great lengths to get a cake and gather neighbours to sing happy birthday to me! They make you feel truly welcome, and help with any questions you have about the local area and taking trips. Basically, staying at Marari Beach is like being welcomed into a community of people who all know one another and share their lives. It's an absolutely wonderful place.
Personally, I needed a little more fruit and fresh items for breakfast and dinner, so opted to eat out a few times. But Augustine makes an amazing fresh juice every morning and a great milk tea :)

Best hosts and accommodation we’ve experienced in Kerala. Suburb food, served on our big terrace (they have a restaurant at the beach but we were in low season so it was closed, but hey, getting served on your own terrace is even better :) Kerala breakfasts but if you prefer European it’s also possible. I’ve had the best dinners there, truly amazing.
My husband got sick from eating street food elsewhere, from some shack at the beach, and Augustine came with a few teapots with strong lemon tea and my husband felt better very soon. Wonderful and caring hosts.
The room is also very spacious and comfortable, terrace is wonderful with a lovely garden view. And a lovely cat 😃
The beach is only minutes away.
We will definitely come back here!

Everything was good. Beach is very near to the stay. We can hear the sound of the sea and waves.
The restaurant is little far from the rooms and we found it difficult to walk in the sand as we went during summer.
Both the hosts - Augustine and his wife were nice and friendly people.

The fact that they run a restaurant just set back from the beach so we could have a delicious dinner as well as breakfast. Beach is lovely and I was able to swim and relax on a sun lounger. It is blissfully unspoilt.

first day was perfect…. they were very kind but not the second day…
unfortunately they kicked us out the second day because a bigger group arrived. they send us to an another place which was far to be nice like this one

Nice place for chill out. So close to the beach, room is clean. Hospitality of the owners at high level :) very tasty meals as well

Nice and big room with balcony. AC working perfectly. Big bathroom. Comfortable bed. Breakfast served on the beach, lovely surrounding and stunning sunsets. I could get what I asked for like toasts and omelete instead of Kerala breakfast which was too spicy for me . Very nice and friendly family. Close to beach. There is shop nearby with basic supplies. If you need rikshaw ask for Joseph.
The only thing that bothered me were dirty towels. We stayed couple of days and in these high temperatures they just should be changed and washed in high temperature.

we unfortunately had red ans that went inside our suitcase and clothes. can be avoided if you dont leave your suitcase open on the floor.
we recommended to Jency to spray the rooms and he took it very serious.

Very humble and down to earth hosts. Very well maintained clean and neat rooms. Just 100 mtrs from almost private Marari beach. We are family with two small kids and all of us enjoyed especially the kids. Breakfast that they give us yummy and we ordered for dinner two which was also homely. Being away from home with kids we couldn't have found any better homemade food and safe and pleasant stay. More than anything the hosts made us fell like it's our place.

Hosts were really friendly and helpful. Food they provided was also really tasty. They also accomodated to our request of early check in. Room is very spacious, clean, with required amenities and bathroom is also quite decent and tidy. Nearby to Marari beach. Overall a very comfortable stay.
