I stayed at the Albany Hotel for three nights and had a good experience overall. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and even lent me an extension cord when I needed one. The complimentary coffee, latte machine, fruit, and snacks in the lobby each morning were a nice touch.
The location was convenient, with easy walking access to buses, the train station, and food delivery options. My room was spacious and clean, and the TV was excellent.
The main issues were maintenance-related. The hot water was inconsistent, and although maintenance was offered, no one came. The windows were stuck and could not be opened or locked properly.

Reasonably priced in New Town. It’s an older building with some sticky windows but quite elegant in an old-fashioned way.
