The wifi is slow, and can be useless at times. With not much cellular signal, its definitely a downside. Its the only thing that keeps it from being a 10/10.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that an incredible amount of care and thought had gone into creating the Retreat at King Cole Farm. The directions were excellent, the cabins were clearly labeled, and the entire property was beautifully maintained, clean, and manicured. Most importantly, the photographs were completely accurate, which we greatly appreciated after traveling from out of state. Self-entry made our arrival exceptionally easy, and we never had to worry about reaching the property at a particular time. The cabin was immaculate, and the air-conditioning was already running when we arrived—a very welcome touch after a long trip. The refrigerator was spotless, as were the kitchen, bathroom, shower, bedding, and everything else in the cabin. There were plenty of towels, pillows, and extra blankets, and the cookware and utensils appeared clean and new. We have stayed in other non-hotel accommodations where plumbing problems, poor maintenance, or questionable cleanliness made the trip feel like work rather than a vacation. We never experienced that here. We were able to settle in, relax, and genuinely enjoy our stay without having to troubleshoot someone else’s maintenance problems. That alone meant more to us than I can adequately express. The cabin was remarkably well designed and organized. Instructions were provided for the shower and air conditioner, and even the air-conditioner remotes had dedicated holders on the wall. It may sound like a small detail, but thoughtful touches like those make an enormous difference. The advertised amenities were actually there, easy to find, and in excellent condition. Even the pocket doors and their latches worked perfectly—and anyone who has ever struggled with a pocket door knows what an achievement that is! We kept looking around and thinking, “Someone who really knows what they’re doing put this place together.” Everything felt intentional, practical, and designed to meet the expectations of guests!
