Hawer Inn - wadi bani Khalid

The room was beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared. We were welcomed with a lovely fruit basket, traditional Omani coffee and dates, and cold water waiting for us in the fridge. These thoughtful little touches made our stay feel extra special. What I loved most was the peaceful atmosphere, the lush vegetation, the beautiful scenery, and the soothing sound of flowing water. There is something truly special about waking up surrounded by nature and enjoying such a serene environment away from the noise and rush of city life. If you are looking for a place to disconnect, recharge, and experience the natural beauty of Oman, Wadi Hawer Inn is the place to go to.

Tout était exceptionnel! On a eu en arrivant un petit doute lorsque l’on a aperçu l’hôtel mais après ça a été une très belle surprise🤩l’endroit est incroyable hôtel niché dans la montagne à on entrée du wadi hawer avec une vue sur un village perché sur une montagne, nous avons eu un accueil exceptionnel par Yacoub avec des fruits, thé café. Le soir son épouse nous a préparé un repas copieux traditionnel on s’est régalé tout comme le petit déjeuner. La chambre était spacieuse et très propre d’ailleurs on y rentrait sans les chaussures. Merci mille fois à Yaciub pour cet instant dans cet endroit qui a été magique et surtout paisible. ☺️

Sehr schöne Aussicht ins Tal

I have lived in the region and extensively explored and documented the Hajar mountains for around 15 years, and it's hard to get the 'real experience' of being in the wadi's and mountains, while not having huge trade offs. However Hawar Inn, is as close as I think it gets, and as close as i've seen it without wild camping. It is deep within the Wadi with track/wadi access, and has Cliffs either side, flowing water between, that you can swim in (all year round), a canyon down the wadi, and the village and farms in front. It captures everything. The Inn is small, in that it only has a few rooms available, which made it nice, and it didn't consume the area it was within. The Family accommodate and provide everything, with good communication throughout.

Food is not included, but is presumed included, so just be clear on pricing. However the food was generous, good and they understand all dietary requirements, or preferences, with zero explanation required.
