The Nine States Hotel KARATSU

静かで良かったです。

少し間取りが好きでは無かった。 前回泊まったナインステイツの方が間取りが好きでした。駐車場も停めやすかった。

目的に見合う宿泊施設だった。

いつも駐車場が満杯で駐車場所によっては非常に停めにくい。

観光地から近く、ロビー、室内とも綺麗でした。 脱衣所も広く、使いやすかった。

施設内禁煙だったので、外でも良いので喫煙スペースが欲しかった。

Quality finishes, comfortable mattress.

The check-in process is one of the worst I had in Japan, in my 10 years of living and travelling here. The hotel is unmanned, but you have to talk to an operator to check in. They had one operator available, so why have 2 tablets for check-in? The walls are paper thin, they don't insulate any sound. The tablets that are used for check-in are so loud, I can hear the operator talking completely clearly through our closed door. Goes without mentioning that traffic and other rooms can be heard just the same. What's the point of having all the nice design choices, if at the end you feel like you're sleeping in a tent? And again, living in Japan, I know how buildings are done here and how thin walls can be, but for a newly built hotel I would expect way more. And finally, the shades in the rooms are stylish as well, but don't block sunlight almost at all.
