The location is in the north, near lots of lakes, big hills/mountains, which means there are lots of waterfalls as well. So, a very idyllic location for those who like to be out in nature. Each morning there is a breakfast included on your room, this made it easy to kick off each day without having to search for a cafe. There is an elevated dining area that looks out over the valley and off into the mountains. This also helps kick off your day. The young couple who run the place are wonderful to chat with and learn about life in the north. Their family can trace its history back many hundreds of years. We spent time with them looking over their family tree and listening to how the family arrived in the area. Their ancestor was given the land the lodge and farm stand on, best I could calculate, around 600 years ago - the number isn't important, it was a long time ago :-). We had some very interesting discussions about one another's lives. I am very happy to have made their acquaintance. We chose to have dinner there each evening as well, we could have gone into town, however the menu is similar to other restaurants and the quality is very good, this also meant we could sit on our balcony in the evenings, read our books, enjoy a beer or a cup of tea and watch the sunset over the valley. Then it was a short walk to the dining area. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We did the rice paddy walk, we did the waterfall hike, we visited Munduk coffee plantation and went to some none touristy temples. We did one thing each day, this was enough to keep us entertained without feeling we were over doing it while we were supposed to be resting.

Cosy and comfortable room with incredible views

A little noisier than expected , I don't mind the animal noises but some traffic and construction

El alojamiento está fenomenal calidad-precio. La familia es súper amable, pendiente en todo momento de cualquier cosa. La comida estaba riquísima. Me ayudaron a gestionar el transporte para mi estancia allí. En general muy bien, el alojamiento está muy bien en una zona que es una maravilla!! Andando a la calle principal unos 10-15 minutos.

Relax nature quiet view amazing

My stay was disappointing overall. The room had an unpleasant smell throughout my stay. I am not sure whether it was due to humidity in the wooden structure or another issue, but it made the accommodation less comfortable than expected. I was also disappointed with the breakfast. It was very basic and not filling: just a plain omelette, a coffee, and a fruit juice. For the price paid, I expected something more substantial. Another negative point was the scooter rental service offered by the property. I was given two different scooters during my stay, and both were in very poor condition. The first one had almost no brakes, while the second had worn-out front suspension. This was both uncomfortable and potentially dangerous, especially in the mountainous area of Munduk, where roads can be steep and in poor condition. What disappointed me most was the lack of any commercial gesture or solution after these issues were reported. I would have appreciated some effort to address the situation and improve the overall experience. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I do not feel that the accommodation offers good value for money.
