Very clean and tidy, everything was there to ensure the best possible experience

The TV, this was our second stay, and it just does not connect t to the WiFi, but after connecting my phone to the WiFi then sharing my personal hotspot everything was good

The venue access to beamish. The views the quiet and relaxing feel. The bath was lovely the bed was comfy the cottage itself was lovely..like stepping back in time.

Not being able to find it, not much help telephoning for help..Driving around beamish museum itself for 2 hours trying to find it. The map kept taking us back to the gate. I asked if we were next to potters cottage and the drover tavern and told no..it was next door. Good job we bumped into the neighbours or would have had to go home. Also the couch... you couldn't sit in it.. too uncomfortable. The tv did not work

Location in the museum site was fabulous. Free direct access to the site was included. Cottage was so quirky and period - it was so different and a real experience. The site staff were so pleased when they heard that we were in the cottages.

If you don't expect every 21st century facility, then you will love this cottage. The track to the cottage from the main entrance is a little rough - perhaps not ideal for low slung cars.

Lovely concept.Enjoyed two days touring museum site after not visiting for a long time.Great new areas. Property was spotless.

Roped off road at entrance made access difficult .A very poor, deep potholed road leading to property was quite concerning even in a vehicle with high clearance.A particular issue on exit from property after heavy night's rain.We wouldn't have wanted to leave site at night. Uncomfortable seating and bed.More thought needs giving to this. Some issues eg loose toilet seat and need to check carpet and handrail fixings. Close proximity to bin area.Large gap around front door. Dealing with agency rather than museum staff.Agency were responsive online.Museum staff spoken to were sometimes not very personable. A paper based map of museum etc in property would have been helpful.
