WEGA Hotel Verona

Upon arrival, the very friendly receptionist allowed us to check in early at no extra cost and secured a free parking spot for us. We stayed in two rooms across the street (not in the same building as the reception and breakfast area). The rooms were at the back—offering no view—but were extremely quiet and renovated; the quality was impeccable, and the room amenities were comprehensive, including a small kitchenette. The bathroom was luxurious. I will certainly return here.

It’s not a major issue, but the breakfast (which isn't included—you can pay for it separately, so it's optional) is quite basic, reminiscent of budget hotels. If possible, I think it's worth having breakfast at a nearby café.

The location is excellent. Just 10 minutes walk to the main piazza and 5 minutes to the bus station with airport bus. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It was disappointing to find only plastic cups in our room upon arrival. Obviously no good for hot drinks! The lady on reception said there should have been paper cups but we asked for cups from the breakfast room and she was happy to provide these. No milks or spoons were provided either.
