Grand Museum with Pyramids view inn

I had a great stay at this guest house in Giza! Amir, the owner, was extremely helpful in organizing my stay and very flexible when it came to adapting to my schedule and requests. Very good location. When I arrived in Egypt, I experienced an unexpected visa issue that delayed me at the airport for almost two hours. Amir patiently waited for me and made sure my transfer to the guest house went smoothly. As a knowledgeable Egyptologist, he also offers excellent guided tours. His explanations at the Grand Egyptian Museum helped me focus on the most interesting and significant exhibits without feeling overwhelmed by the size of the museum. The tour of the Pyramids was equally informative, with plenty of fascinating historical insights. He is also very helpful when it comes to arranging transportation, even at unusual hours, and offers useful advice to make the most of your time in Giza. What I particularly appreciated was the flexibility of the services, the ability to adapt activities to my interests and schedule, and the convenience of having tours and transfers organized directly through the guest house. A very convenient place to stay when exploring Giza, especially if you want well-organized visits and interesting historical explanations!

كانت إقامتي في الفندق جميلة جدًا، وأكثر شيء عجبني كانت إطلالة الغرفة على الأهرامات والمتحف المصري الكبير. المنظر كان رائع جدًا، وخصوصًا في الصباح، وكان من الممتع أن أقضي بعض الوقت في الغرفة وأستمتع بالإطلالة. 😍 الغرفة كانت نظيفة جدًا ومرتبة، وده من أكتر الأشياء اللي عجبتني. كل شيء كان نظيف ومنظم، والتكييف كان أكثر من رائع والغرفة كانت مريحة جدًا. في الغرفة كان فيه شاشة Smart TV وباقات Netflix، بالإضافة إلى Wi-Fi مجاني، وده شيء جميل جدًا لمحبي الأفلام والاسترخاء. الحمام كان نظيف جدًا أيضًا، وكان متوفر فيه كل الأشياء الأساسية مثل الفوط والصابون والشامبو. كمان كان موجود طقم كامل للمشروبات الساخنة مجانًا، فيه Kettle وشاي ونسكافيه، ودي كانت إضافة جميلة. جربت الفطار في الصباح وكان رائعًا جدًا، والأكل كان جيدًا ومناسبًا لبداية اليوم. وأحب أشكر جدًا مستر أمير على حسن الاستقبال والتعامل الراقي، وعلى اهتمامه وتوفير أي خدمة كنت أحتاجها أثناء الإقامة. بصراحة ده خلاني أشعر براحة أكبر. ❤️ بشكل عام، أنا كنت مبسوط جدًا من الإقامة، خصوصًا من نظافة الغرفة، الإطلالة الرائعة، التكييف، والخدمات الموجودة. تجربة جميلة جدًا وإن شاء الله أكررها مرة تانية. ❤️

The location is good, across the road from the grand museum. Only a 15 min drive to the pryamids. View from the room is lovely. Beds are comfy and the shower is good.

The owner Amir. I have been to over 20 hostels and ive never seen such unprofessional behavior. He is a very good talker and will try his hardest to con extra money out of you. I checked in after midnight, he tried to say I have missed a day of my reservation even though I informed him multiple times of my arrival time. My room wasnt ready on day 1, even though he had an extra 7 hours to arrange it. He claimed it was becuase of over booking but the whole time i was there i didnt see a single other guest. I was put into a lesser room than I had booked, with dirty sheets. He then asked me to cancel the booking.com reservation. I read the policy and that would result in my card being charged anyway, so would have ended up paying double. The next day when i was swapped rooms, I had to just leave all my luggage in the hall way as i left at 8am and my new room wouldnt be ready until 12pm. Nothing was missing, but still an uncomfortable scenario. Just be wary, if you are unsure or a bit naive he will take advantage. And after all that, he told me the thing that matters most to him isnt money, it is his reputation. 😂
