Location was great and the house was very homely and comfortable. The beds were super comfy. Lots of seating in the lounge and dining room. We didn’t use the hot tub so can’t comment but looked well kept. The Italian restaurant was just across the road and lovely. Alison was very helpful and prompt answering any questions I had.

As others have said a bin is really needed in the kitchen. I had to hang a bin liner on the door handle. Just a minor thing but annoying when it’s such a lovely property.

The house was perfect for a family get-together of 9 people with 5 well-sized bedrooms, a dining table that could seat all of us and comfortable chairs for each of us in the living room. We were pleasantly surprised with the country surroundings and peaceful back garden despite being close to a fairly busy road. The hot tub and table tennis table were well used. Televisions and fans in rooms added extra comfort. There is a good Italian restaurant within easy walking distance and the Gladstone pottery museum, Trentham gardens and Emma Bridgewater factory are not far away (all highly recommended).

Despite clear instructions about sorting general waste and recycling, the bins were outside and it was just lucky that we had brought large bags that we could use in the kitchen.

Alison was extremely helpful and quick to respond to messages. The house had pretty much everything we needed. The hot tub was great and there was ample parking. It was nice to all be able to sit and eat together as there were enough chairs in the dining area for all. Comfy beds. Everywhere nice & clean.

There was no bin in the kitchen but bins opposite the back door so it isn’t a major issue it just took us a while to find the bin bag to use which was probably more a case of us not reading the info I think .

No mirrors in all the bedrooms for doing hair and muck up
