Guesthouse Historical Palacinho de São Antonio

The location is at the very hart of Birgu making exploring the area very convenient. The room itself was spacious, with access to shared and fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor as well as rooftop deck with lounge chairs.

I can't say I didn't really like it but depending on the floor of the room (mine was on third), climbing quite bit of winding stairs is needed. With heavy luggage, could be a challenge. The windows are not particularly soundproof, so noise from the street can be heard.

The location was spectacular, a quiet and truly beautiful place to stay. Already at 6am a pastry shop around the corner is open with amazing pastries and coffee for a perfect morning! Also the 3€ boat taxis to Valletta are just a 2 minute walk away, or if you prefer Valletta ferry service - thats only about 7 minute walk away. The apartment itself was comfortable and beautiful, the rooftop terrace is perfect for breakfast, or a nice evening, or even sunbathing, if you don't feel like going to the beach. The communal kitchen area was very easy to share with other guests, and the kitchen was always tidy. The staff/owners are very nice and kind people, they are always ready to help with any inconvenience the guests might be having. They're always quick to respond when you text them aswell. Overall, this accommodation played a BIG part into making our trip wonderful. When we come back to Malta, we would definitely book this place again☀️

The location was excellent, right in the heart of Birgu and close to the waterfront and the ferry to Valletta. The room was comfortable, clean and had a nice traditional Maltese atmosphere. I also liked the balcony and the quiet surroundings.

le scale fino al terzo piano con la valigia ingombrante, il bagno seppur nuovo, manca di supporti per gli asciugamani se si è in due. La stanza, graziosa, ha poco spazio per tenere la valigia. Conviene riempire l'armadio e metterla via
