The Lodge was just right for us to use a base for visiting various locations nearby, including Thetford, Ely, and plane spotting at RAF Lakenheath and Mildenhall.
Sally, and Andrew, were lovely hosts, friendly, and very informative about local attractions, and the the surrounding area.
The Lodge, was comfy, with all the necessary facilities, and great views over the countryside, including Ely Cathedral in the distance.
Would definitiely book again.
There was nothing not to like 😊

Great location.
Sally kindly left bread, jam and butter for breakfast.
Nice and comfortable.

Property was in a lovely location with countries views for miles, it had everything needed for our stay and we had a great 3 days away.
Our only niggle was the cockerel calling in the morning but actually found it quite funny once it happened.

The hosts were very welcoming and the location was lovely, even if a little difficult to find. They provide some basic essentials such as bread, butter, jam, tea bags & milk. However, this wasn’t mentioned on the booking so we had already done a shop before arriving.
It was full of bugs/spiders and someone’s fake eyelashes dotted around the place (on the fan and bath mat). Unfortunately it was far too hot and the fan provided was not adequate enough to cool the place down. There was also dirt on top of the bedding, which may have been from the open windows when we arrived (I think opened in an effort to cool the place down but unfortunately it didn’t). The instructions on how to find the place could be more detailed because we didn’t realise it was within Hawkes Farm as it was mentioned.
