Franco Tamil Villas by Western Valley Resorts

The traditional pillars in the 3BHK vill, the veranda at the entrance, the sit out inside the house with an open sky view and private pool where the highlights. The breakfast and dinner items like Chapati and curries where delicious. The staff at the reception were soft spoken and calm in responding/ catering to requests which was very welcoming. The property is well maintained with natural elements like narrow canals with lilies and tiny fishes, giving a refreshing feel.

Though the private pool had facility to drain, and cleanup prefilled water in pool with help from the staff, we had to make multiple calls before the staff arrived. We were a bit misled about the estimate of when the service to clean up can be done. But once the staff arrived the task got done in 10-15mins. The staff could have clarified about the options to get the pool ready based on time taken, like (1) we could either drain the entire pool and refill fresh water, which takes about 45mins or (2) we could just cleanup the existing water in the pool by cycling the water through a motor in the staff's control and disinfecting the water , which would take about 10-15mins. Wish we could have been more informed about the options given that we placed a request to clean up the pool water post a heavy rain the prior night, 2-3 hrs before checking out. The chicken biryani that was available for dinner was not up to the mark, didn't taste like a biryani.

Loved the concept of heritage living. It felt like home. Staff were kind and amazing. The rooms were neat and tidy. Well maintained place

La localisation calme en decors de Pondichery. Chambre très grande. Belle piscine. Personnel serviable.

Le restaurant de l'hotel présente de grosses lacunes. Les plats sont bons mais choix limité par manque de stock de pas mal de produits. Aucun équipement comfortable autour de la piscine (ex : pas de chaise longue). Nettoyage à la demande et 2x demandé du papier toilette. C'est un hotel qui doit s'améliorer pour accueillir des clients hors Inde.
