Granary Villa

The whole experience was amazing from the moment we arrived and were greeted by a member of staff who showed us our room which was the honeymoon suite. Such an amazing place for the price, was on par with the double priced room we stayed in the next night elsewhere :)

We booked out the entire place for our stay the night before my wedding and it was perfect. The rooms were spacious and we had room In the kitchen area to chill out, and get ready the next day

It was okay, secluded nice for a private get away

The bedroom was small for the cabin.

A lack of attention to detail. For example, the front door needed to be adjusted because it was very hard to close so had to slam it, which was annoying because late at night I heard people coming in and out. In addition, whereas the room was nice, the windows were filthy inside and out, the window frames on the inside needed cleaning, there were marks all over the walls which easily could’ve been cleaned off - and there wasn’t enough tea, coffee and milk. One of the curtain rails was hanging off the wall because it had become loose, not a big problem to fix but somebody either hadn’t noticed it or didn’t think it was important enough to remedy. The downstairs hallway needed some attention, there was peeling paint on one of the walls and it smelt musty. It might’ve been a damp problem or it might have been simply that nobody ever opened the windows to air out the house. Also, don’t go to the pub across the road, the food was shocking and it was full of some very strange people. There are some good pubs and restaurants in the area if you go slightly further out.
