One of our most pleasant stays in all our travels. Our hosts were wonderful! They are the kindest, most helpful and hospitable couple. We had two dinners, two breakfasts, with most of the food home-grown, and all of it home-cooked. It was so delicious. Even the olive oil and wine was made by our host.
The room had absolutely everything we needed, and it was such a comfortable bed.
There was nothing we would change, and nothing to improve, except that we couldn’t stay longer!

I would rate this place 11/10. Hosts Emanuela and Raffaelo were outstanding. Every little detail thought through. Because of its location and we were walking we ordered dinner. Exceptional with Raffaelo’s fresh vegetables from his garden, his own wine and olive oil. This has been our accommodation highlight of 8 nights in Italy. 👏

We loved the hospitality, so warm. We couldn't speak Italian, they couldn't speak English but we managed to communicate and they were very welcoming. En route whilst walking via francigena, we split the long stage and walked gallina to ponte rigo. We loved the breakfast, which comprised things made at home, with produce and eggs from the garden. A welcome after a few processed, sweet and packaged breakfasts. We cooked our evening meal in the shared kitchen with food bought in radiociofanai
