We have never stayed in Townsend before during all of our stays to the Smokies. I loved being away from the hustle of crowds. The Parkman was the first place I googled for Townsend area. They allowed my pet which was a must. The room and property were both clean. The staff were polite. It was just me and the hubby for our 10 year anniversary, so the room given was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Townsend.

Very quiet and old school hotel. Townsend is where we stay when we ride down to eastern Tennessee. Close enough to everything but far enough away from the tourist areas. The only complaint I have of my room was there wasn’t a fridge or microwave. But the bed was comfortable and the view was great. The bathroom was small and the shower is tiny. But it was overall a very nice hotel.
