GRAND HOTEL du LAC Boutique Saigon

Everything about this unique, boutique property was exceptional. The location is fantastic; just across the street from the vibrant central market and within easy walking or tuk-tuk distance from all major sites and attractions. The restaurant food was excellent including a large breakfast buffet with a large variety of choices. Ala carte breakfast options are also available and included in the breakfast provided to guests. We also enjoyed evening dining in the hotel restaurant and ate there two out of three nights during our stay at the property. The small but cozy and beautiful rooftop bar is not to be missed. The hotel staff are also outstanding. During my journey the tread on one of the wheels of my rolling duffel began to delaminate. The hotel staff assisted me in locating a shop that could replace both wheels, and pick up and drop off my bag all in one day for the incredibly low price of $24. The manager, Mary, is fantastic and leads a staff who is very welcoming and wants to make every guests' visit the most pleasant and stress free it could possibly be. This property was a joy and definitely added to the pleasure of our trip to Southeast Asia.

We really liked the location in district one. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool overlooking the city.

The bed felt like sleeping on the floor and the pillows were horrific

When we arrived at the property the staff was amazing. Very friendly and very accommodating.

During our stay, my wife and daughter in law were accused of taking umbrellas and not returning them. They would not give us umbrellas when it was raining because they said we did not return some, which was absolutely not true. We told them to check their cameras to see us signing them out and returning them. It was very accusatory and insulting.

Breakfast are great with good services staffs.. Bell boy are attentive to help you anytime .
