Amherst Inn

We came here during home coming weekend and stayed at the Amherst in. We absolutely loved this B&B. It is walking distance to downtown Amherst and a very short drive to UMASS campus center. The home is a historical gem. Nicely decorated to the period with such perfect detail. The beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and it was made at your request. Thank you so much for hosting us Christine and John!

We loved everything about this place, no complaints

The Amherst Inn is a beautiful, historic, and engaging, relaxing and convenient location in this beautiful town. It is directly across from the Emily Dickinson Homestead in a bucolic setting of lush greenery. Its hosts Christine and John welcome each guest, and throughout my stay showed friendly attention, superb breakfast each day, and were available for any questions I had. Each of its rooms are beautifully appointed and you can relax in a calm setting. The Inn is in close walking distance to some great restaurants and convenience locations. Local bus lines take you to any other area of the town, and surrounding campuses of Amherst University and UMASS. Absolutely a great choice.

Very well kept and preserved mansion, impeccably clean, good expensive mattresses and thick clean towels. Fantastic couple runs the place and serve fenomenal breakfast, all fresh produce from farms around masterly prepared. Forgot to ask why it says “Welcome” in Swedish. Must be some story behind.

Nothing.

Very pleasant experience staying at the Amherst Inn. Christine and her husband (John?) were excellent hosts and our room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast the next morning was excellent! We will be back for sure whenever we will be in this area.
