Fantastic facilities - comfy beds and great to have our own kitchenette and shower room! Terry and Kerrie were great hosts.

A little road noise in the Meadow Yurt but that’s to be expected with the location!

Amazing getaway meet up for two city workers (one Glasgow, one Newcastle) looking for a switch off weekend. The yurt (Woody) was amazing, facilities were above expectation with full private shower with great water pressure, composting loo and great stand alone kitchen. We used the communal bbq area at night, including the fire pit which was lovely to congregate around with and meet fellow guests, with our own private seating area when we wanted/needed it. For a small fee we utilised the log fired sauna which was a great way to break up our Saturday afternoon. Kerry and Terry were fantastic hosts with the perfect balance of attentiveness and giving us space to chill out. They have done a fantastic job with the site and long may it continue!

Nothing! My only preference would be a gas grill or charcoal based bbq rather than a flat grill plate.

We stayed in Meadow Yurt. The site is in a great location within 5 minutes of local town.

Everything! We were lucky with the weather so could sit outside on the provided seating- stocked up the little fire when we were inside the yurt and used the clean bbq facilities to cook … so well thought out and the perfect stay after so many nights of the usual accommodation houses.

Nothing! The extra bed (sofa bed) was very hard to sleep on but luckily we had a hiking mattress we could use which made it more comfortable
