We had all the amenities we were looking for -AC, dishwasher, coffee maker (Nespresso), stove, microwave, washing machine -but the washing machine takes 3-4 hrs so we ended up just using the sink. However, There was not a closet in the bedrooms - one had a half cabinet with a rod for a few things but no other place to put clothes or hang them to dry. The host was very responsive when we asked for an air cleaner to combat the mildew smell in the basement bedroom. They brought one over within an hour of our request! We recommended a dehumidifier since there are no air vents in any of the bedrooms. The air cleaner noise was helpful because it drowned out the rumble of the underground train only audible in the basement. There wasn’t a shower curtain for the bathtub so We also asked the host to bring a stopper for the bathtub and they responded right away they would bring one.

There weren’t any instructions or guidelines- we had to reach out to host to ask about where to take the trash. When you walk in at street level there are 4 glass steps down to the living room (plays havoc with your depth perception), then another 8 steep steps down to kitchen and basement bedroom, and another 10 steep steps up from the living room to the upstairs bedroom. These steps do not have railings and they are slippery polished concrete. My nephew fell down the stairs - just a few scrapes but you definitely have to be careful.

Η τοποθεσία ήταν πολύ καλή, σε 20 λεπτά περίπου φτάνεις με τα πόδια σε βασικά αξιοθέατα του Παρισιού. Επίσης κοντα σε κεντρικό δρόμο και σε καταστηματα, μετρό, σουπερ μαρκετ κλπ. Το σπίτι ήταν άνετο, τα κρεβάτια πολύ βολικά, είχε πάντα ζεστό νερό και όλα τα comfort. Κάθε υπνοδωμάτιο είχει και το μπάνιο του οπότε είναι πολύ βολικό για πολλά άτομα.

Το βασικό μειονεκτημα του σπιτιού που μέναμε ήταν ότι έχει μόνο ένα μικρό παράθυρο στο ισόγειο που βγάζει σε έναν μικρό ακάλυπτο, με μια σκαλωσιά, οπότε δεν είχε καθόλου καλό εξαερισμό και φυσικό φωτισμό. Το σπίτι είναι σε 3 επίπεδα και τα 2 απο τα 3 υπνοδωμάτια δεν έχουν καθόλου παραθυρα. Επίσης η ηχομόνωση με το διπλανό σπίτι ήταν σχεδόν ανύπαρκτη.
